What is dog fitness?
Dog fitness is not just daily walks and playing fetch.
It aims to work on other important aspects of your dog's physical health such as balance, stability, muscle control and precision.
Why does my dog need it?
Did you know? Dogs carry most of their weight on their front legs!
This causes a lot of imbalances in their coordination and if without practice, can cause poor awareness of other parts of the body (aka 'clumsiness').
Even for non-sporting dogs, if un-coordinated, a simple game of fetch can lead to sprains or ligament tears.
Hence, getting your dog to improve on body awareness will
- Help them be active for longer
- Reduce injuries and aches
- Lead a more happier, pain-free life
About us
Hello, this is Humphrey, an active Scottish Terrier from Singapore.
When I was 2, I was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia. This meant that I can't be as active and bouncy as I would like to be.
This was when I was exposed to physiotherapy for dogs and learnt how to pay attention to how my body was moving.
I had a hard time finding equipment to do basic exercises and thus decided to start Gym Dog Co to make fitness equipment for dogs more accessible.
Why Gym Dog Co
Note
Please consult with your veterinarian or a canine fitness professional to design a safe and effective exercise program tailored to your dog's needs. Gym Dog Co will not be liable for any injuries caused due to inappropriate use of equipment.

Every pupper deserves a balanced approach to fitness, not just the competitive dog pros!
